I had the privilege to be chosen out 124 applicants to embark on a journey with 23 other student journalists to New Orleans for the New York Times Student Journalism. Yes, the New York Times as in the New York Times. The two weeks consisted of writing stories, networking and having a once a chance to work with professionals from the Times.
