Yesterday the New Orleans Times-Picayune announced it was going to reduce its print circulation to three days a week and focus on its digital side. Check out the coverage we did and my contribution to package, which was the history of the paper.
I had the privilege to be chosen out 124 applicants to embark on a journey with 23 other student journalists to New Orleans for the New York Times Student Journalism. Yes, the New York Times as in the New York Times. The two weeks consisted of writing stories, networking and having a once a chance to work with professionals from the Times.
