Alexandria Valdez, 24, is currently a full time sports reporter at The Montana Standard in Butte, Montana.
After multiple internships, Valdez has a variety of skills that include photography, social media and using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
Valdez was born in California but considers Colorado her home. For college she wanted to escape to a beach but ended up north in Missoula, Montana. It was here where she began pursuing her dream to become a sports reporter.
Other than journalism, Valdez enjoys craft beer, reading and hanging out with her husband and pug.
